px, pt, dp
iOS’ design measures in pts, Androids in dp, and design for the web is done in px but what do they mean and what is the difference?
px (Pixels)
ppi (Pixels Per Inch)
pt (Points)
dp (Density-independent Pixels)
CSS pixel (logical pixel)
a CSS pixel (logical pixel) is exactly equal to a physical pixel when viewed on a screen with 96 pixels/inch.
