都道府县、市町村

  • 是日本第一级行政区划，系都、道、府、县4种行政区划之合称
  • 其下为“基础型地方公共团体”，即市町村
  • 都道府县的制度是随着明治新政府于1871年实施的废藩置县政策而建立的，现行的设置法源则是1947年施行的《地方自治法》。目前共设有47个，分别为1都（东京都）、1道（北海道）、2府（大阪府、京都府）、43县。这个层级的行政区划是日本国会参众两院基本选区划分的一部分。
